Paterson Great Falls

Description
The Great Falls of the Passaic River drop more than 70 feet through a basalt gorge in Paterson, New Jersey, making them one of the largest waterfalls by volume east of the Mississippi. The falls powered the nation’s first planned industrial city, anchoring mills that helped launch America’s early manufacturing economy and earning the site designation as a National Historical Park.
